Game Details:

"Chrono Trigger" was created by a collaboration of industry giants: Hironobu Sakaguchi of "Final Fantasy", Akira Toriyama of "Dragon Ball", and Yuji Horii of "Dragon Quest", and is hailed as a work of the "Dream Team". The game tells the story of the protagonist Crono who, through an accident, gets caught up in time travel, and ventures with companions from different timelines to save a future doomed by an anomaly.

One of the game's biggest features is "time travel", where players will traverse prehistoric eras, the Middle Ages, the present, the future, and the desolate wasteland after the world's destruction. Combat uses the ATB system and introduces mechanics such as "Techs" and "Position Effects", adding strategic depth. The storyline is not only emotionally rich but also supports multiple endings, greatly enhancing replayability.

Editor's Recommendation:

If you are a fan of Japanese RPGs, "Chrono Trigger" is definitely worth collecting and playing through multiple times. The game perfectly blends story, character growth, and combat strategy, with the time-traveling setting offering a unique and immersive experience. It has no lengthy or tedious cutscenes, the pacing is just right, and the characters are distinct with ever-emerging twists. Both the main story progression and side quests are deeply engaging, making it one of the few masterpieces that players can repeatedly savor.

Game Guide:

In the early stages of the game, players should first familiarize themselves with the combat system and character abilities. Crono mainly focuses on physical attacks, Marle uses healing magic, and Lucca provides ranged magical offense. After obtaining the gate of time, it is recommended to prioritize completing the storyline quests in the prehistoric era "Prehistoric Ruins" and the future world "Ruins of the Future" to acquire key items and experience.

When facing BOSS battles, make full use of "Dual Techs" and "Triple Techs" combinations, such as Crono + Marle's "Ice Sword" or Crono + Frog + Marle's "X Strike", which can deal massive damage. Some enemies have specific weaknesses, for example, Lavos is less susceptible to dark-elemental attacks.

Furthermore, different choices will affect the direction of the ending. It is recommended to use the "New Game+" mode after clearing the game to try different choices and unlock all 13 endings. For example, if Crono is not saved before defeating Lavos, the world will head towards a different apocalyptic timeline.

Collecting hidden weapons and items is also not to be overlooked, such as the "Rainbow" and "Prism Dress" which can be obtained through hidden quests. It is recommended to save regularly and maintain multiple save files to avoid accidental choices in story branches.
