As a masterpiece for the Famicom/NES, this game was designed by Shigeru Miyamoto, perfectly combining exploration and action. The game is divided into 8 worlds, each containing 4 stages. Settings range from grasslands and underground caverns to underwater levels, cloudscapes, and lava-filled castles. Players attack by jumping on enemies or shooting fireballs with the Fire Flower. The game hides numerous secrets, including invisible blocks, warp pipes, and bonus rooms filled with coins. Game Guide:

• The Art of Jumping: The height of your jump depends on how long you press the jump button. When crossing narrow platforms or dodging enemies, a quick tap of the jump button performs a short hop, while a long press executes a high leap. Jumping while running (holding the B button) allows you to jump farther, a necessary skill for clearing large gaps.
• Infinite Lives Trick (World 3-1): At the staircase near the end of World 3-1, two Koopa Troopas will walk down. Stomp on the edge of the second Koopa, causing its shell to bounce repeatedly between the steps. By continuously stomping on it in rhythm without touching the ground, your score will rapidly increase and eventually start awarding extra lives (1-UP).
• Shortcuts & Warp Pipes:
• World 1-2: At the moving platforms near the end of the stage, jump onto the ceiling blocks at the top of the screen and walk all the way to the right. This will lead to a Warp Zone with pipes to Worlds 2, 3, and 4.
• World 4-2: Similarly, by accessing a hidden area above the ceiling, you can find warp pipes to Worlds 6, 7, and 8, significantly shortening the game.
• Flagpole Bonus Secret: The higher you jump onto the flagpole at the end of each stage, the more points you'll receive. If the last digit of the timer is a 1, 3, or 6 when you touch the flagpole, fireworks will go off, earning you extra points.
• Dealing with Bowser: In the 4th stage of each world, you don't need to fight Bowser head-on. Wait for an opening when he jumps, then quickly run underneath him and touch the axe behind him. This will break the bridge and defeat him. If you have a Fire Flower, you can also defeat him directly by hitting him with 12 consecutive fireballs.
